Dr. Diana is a life-long Hoosier originally from Northwest Indiana. Her dental career started early when she became a dental assistant for an oral surgery group back home after high school. It was there that she found her passion taking old dental textbooks that the surgeons gave her and reading them after work. She believes that working at every level within the profession has given her a unique perspective on providing dental care. She went on to graduate from Indiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry in 2002. She graduated in 2006 with a Doctorate in Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry and was inducted into Omicrom Kappa Upsilon, a National Dental Honor Society. She was awarded her Pediatric Dentistry Certificate and Masters Degree after completing two additional years of specialty training at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. During her residency she was honored with the Arthur Klein Research Award. She received her Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry one short year later. Dr. Diana is proud to be named as a Top Dentist the last five years in Indianapolis Monthly. She also is currently part-time faculty at the graduate pediatric dentistry program at Riley Children’s Hospital working with the residents in the operating room. With every decision she made while planting Growing Grins Pediatric Dentistry her compass was simple, “Live What You Love”. There is nothing that Dr. Diana loves more passionately in life than her two children, Finn and Whitney. She understands that all parents share that sentiment and believes the truth that providing only the absolute best care is acceptable for your children.

Natalie is not shy when it comes to teeth. When she was just a young sprout she loved wiggling her own teeth out for the tooth fairy! In fifth grade health class Natalie’s favorite part was talking about teeth. She remembers drawing a tooth structure for the first time, and being so proud! After many more years Natalie grew up and had to make a decision: what to do with her life? Natalie knew one thing for sure, children inspired her and she grew fond of all their imaginations. She came to the decision pretty quickly when it came to the dental field to be an expanded functions dental assistant. Natalie started her career directly out of college in pediatric dentistry at the beginning of 2012. This is the year she met Dr. Diana, and after setting aside their different opinions about Taylor Swift, they quickly became friends. Natalie married her high school sweet heart, Daryl, who she loves to travel with. This past May, Daryl and Natalie fell in love with their first bundle of joy, Claire. Outside of work she spends most of her free time with family. She also enjoys music, photography, and spending time with her fur babies.

Rakel has joined the team at Growing Grins Pediatric Dentistry for a very special reason. She is currently applying to dental school and wanted to learn more about the inner working of a dental office! Dr. Diana was more than happy to have her as a staff member because she has so much gratitude for the dentists who allowed her to work in their office while she was applying to dental school herself. Having Rakel in office feels like a pay it forward moment and she couldn't be happier it's with a star like Rakel.
